Summer lessons begin early in June. The schedule is announced in mid-May at which time lessons may be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.

Current students may schedule lesson(s) by email or by penciling in their/your child’s name on the Summer Lessons calendar in the Music Room. New students are welcome to begin piano studies over the summer break, too! Contact Mrs. Winner to arrange your first session. Those who have secured a time slot are asked to inform Mrs. Winner of cancellations as soon as possible out of consideration of other students who wish to sign up.

Students of all ages may find lessons over the long break particularly productive in the absence of school and homework. Moreover, it is strongly recommended that first and second year students take a minimum of six lessons during the summer to prevent an inevitable slide back to Square One by September.

Summer piano lessons help beginner students retain skills and concepts over the break, but everyone can benefit!
