December, 2018. A casual Christmas Party marked the end of the fall semester. In addition to solo piano performances, collaborative student pieces were performed for family and friends to enjoy.
October, 2018. This students only shindig was a casual evening of games, time together, and an “open piano” for taking turns tickling the ivories. Costumes are totally optional!
September, 2018. To start the year off on the right note, students spent an afternoon outdoors face painting, creating sidewalk chalk art, and making giant bubbles; and indoors, performing music on the piano for each other.
June, 2018. The spring semester culminated in two holiday recitals. In addition to solo performances, collaborative pieces were presented for all to enjoy. Achievement awards in music theory, skill progression, and performance were awarded.
May 2018. Students collaborated on ensemble pieces over pizza and laughs, proving that music-making with others can be a lot of fun!
March, 2018. The audience enjoyed pieces played on multiple pianos with pianists performing the same piece. Solos, duets and even three players on each piano! Add a sing-along, bells, and recorders for a joyful afternoon of music with family and friends. This Winner Piano Studio event was held at The Key School.
July, 2017. In its 13th year, this public summer time festival featured outdoor piano performances with a “water” theme followed by an afternoon poolside picnic and swim at Truxtun Park in Annapolis. Sponsored by the Anne Arundel Music Teachers Association.
March, 2017. What a journey! Mrs. Winner celebrated 50 years of teaching with current—as well as former—students, friends, and family. The tally so far: 457 piano students in all; 16 adults and 441 children!
November, 2016. The general public was treated to a marathon of piano performances at the Bowtie Cinema lobby in Westfield Annapolis Mall. All performers are students of piano teachers affiliated with the Anne Arundel Music Teachers Association, which sponsored the event.
